Prior to this, Markus gained international experience as Branch Manager at Festo Australia and held leadership roles at Mannesmann Rexroth and Pilz GmbH. He holds degrees in International Economics from Albert Ludwigs University of Freiburg and International Marketing from Reutlingen University.
